Refund policy

Right of Free Resolution
When entering into a Contract as a consumer, the User has the legally established right to terminate the Contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without having to give any reason for their decision.
The free resolution period expires 14 days after the date on which the User, or third parties - other than the carrier - designated by the User, receive the goods in hand, or, in the case of several goods in a single order delivered separately, 14 days after the date on which the User, or third parties - other than the carrier - designated by the User take physical possession of the last product in the order.
To exercise the right to freely terminate the contract, the User may notify HomeLab at Rua dos Belos Ares, nº 318, 4815-092 Vizela, Portugal, or by contacting us through our contact form, informing us of their decision to terminate the Contract through an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by mail or email).
The User may use the model termination form included in the Annex to this document. However, the User may exercise their right of free termination by any means, and the use of any of the aforementioned means is not mandatory. To comply with the deadline for free termination of the contract, it will suffice to send us your communication informing us of the exercise of your right of termination before the deadline for exercising the right of free termination of the contract expires.

Effects of free termination of the contract
Upon termination of the Contract, the User shall be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the products, including delivery costs to the original place of delivery (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and, in any case, within a maximum of 14 days from the day on which we were informed of the decision to terminate the Contract.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the initial purchase, except when a gift card is presented (in this case, the refund will be made via a gift card/voucher issued by HomeLab). The User will not be liable for any fees resulting from the aforementioned refund.
Notwithstanding the above, we may withhold the refund until the goods are returned, or until proof of shipment of the goods to be returned is provided, whichever comes first.
Items must be returned by mail to the following address: HomeLab, Rua dos Belos Ares, nº 318, 4815-092 Vizela, Portugal, within a maximum period of 14 days from the date on which we are notified of the User's decision to terminate this Agreement.
The deadline will be considered met if the goods are returned before the end of the 14-day period.

Returns
In addition to the legally recognized right of consumers to freely terminate the contract mentioned above, we grant the User a period of 30 days from the date of confirmation of shipment of the products to return them.
At HomeLab, returns are generally free of charge.

In the event of misuse of the courier services as assessed by the delivery location or the number of returns by the customer, HomeLab reserves the right to notify the customer that the return operation may incur costs.

All items must be in the same condition as when the customer received/found them - unused, unwashed, with the inside and outside labels, with the respective purchase receipt, with the complete sets and without alterations. The purchase document is essential for orders placed with a gift receipt, so that the refund is not processed using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Returns must be made in the same market where the purchase was made.

If the customer wishes to return items from different orders, it is important that they request a collection for each one, in accordance with the number of boxes they wish to return. HomeLab is not responsible for returns of items purchased in separate orders and/or returned with a collection request for a different order.

To initiate a return, you can contact us at homelab@homelab.pt, indicating your email, name, and phone number. Please note that returns must be sent to the following address: Rua dos Belos Ares, nº 318, 4815-092 Vizela, Portugal.

 The message should include:

- Whether you wish to return or exchange the item;
- The order number for the item you wish to return or exchange;
- The reason for the return or exchange.

We will contact you as soon as possible to process your request.

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as information on how to ship your package and where to send it. Items returned to us without a prior return request will not be accepted.

Damage and problems
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive an incorrect item, so that we can assess the problem and correct it. If possible, please attach images that prove and/or highlight the problem.

 

Exceptions/items that cannot be returned
We cannot accept returns of discounted items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item you have purchased, you may do so within 30 days of receipt and in the same market where you made the purchase. The exchange will be possible as long as it is an exchange for the same item (same reference number), color, and/or size, it is in perfect condition, the price has not changed, and the store has the item in stock.

 

Refunds
HomeLab reserves the right to refuse returns outside the stipulated period; if the items are not in the same condition as when they were sent; and if they do not comply with the return conditions mentioned above. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used to process the order. The refund will be for the value of the returned item(s).

This return does not include any shipping or transportation costs associated with the purchase.
HomeLab will withhold the refund until it receives the goods and confirms their condition.
The refund will be made within 14 business days after confirmation of the order status.

Please note that HomeLab reserves the right to reject returns communicated/sent outside the established period, as well as those containing items that are not in the same condition as when they were sent.
